Warren County is home to a diverse base of industries, from more than 300 specialty nurseries to several automotive supply companies, including Yorozu, Bridgestone and Morrison Industries. High precision metal manufacturing, cutting-edge technology, scientific research, consumer products, a world-renowned center for Eastern studies and several outdoor-based businesses are just a few of the companies that have made their way to Warren County to take advantage of the location and skilled workforce.
YOROZU Corporation
The largest automotive supplier in the Upper Cumberland region, Yorozu manufactures suspension systems, seat parts, brackets and other items for Nissan, Honda and Subaru. With welding, stamping and other operations, Yorozu's 800,000-square-foot plant supplies assembly operations in two states. The plant has grown in staff and size since first coming here in 1997, and now it employs about 2,000 people and achieves $450 million in annual sales.
Morrison Industries
A home-grown company, Morrison Industries manufactures racks for automotive engines, fenders and other parts for clients that include Chrysler, Nissan, KIA and Ford. Welders, machinists, fabricators, painters and saw operators manufacture 2,000 racks each month. With design changes required every six to eight weeks, Morrison Industries creates custom products from design to delivery, processing half a million pounds of steel per week.
